Hello Friends…

Who would not like stories? Everyone love to hear stories. Reading stories is a great hobby one can have which helps us get new words and can also increase our imagination. When reading stories most of them would naturally start imagining the characters in the story and will have a great movie flow in their mind about what the particular person is reading. Here is a story I would like to share with you which I had read recently. Let us swing into the story and start imagining …

One day a man was hunting for jobs and he applied in a very big firm for the position of ‘office boy’. The manager interviewed the man and gave a test of cleaning the floor. After evaluating the man the manager said, ”You are hired. Give me your phone number, and I shall inform you when to start your work”.

The man replied, “Sir, I don’t have a mobile phone”. The manager said, “Sorry, If you don’t have a mobile phone you cannot have the job” and asked the man to leave. Having no job made the man desperate. He had only 100 rupees in his pocket and had no idea of what to do.

He then decided to go to the retail outlet to buy 20 kg tomato in a crate. After buying he sold the tomatoes in door-step to many people until all the tomatoes were sold. In less than three hours, he gained double the amount than he already had. He repeated the same process four times, and returned home. This time he gained 800 rupees. Now the man realized that he can survive by this way. From then on, he started his work each day to sell the same way by going early morning and returning late night.

In short period he bought a cart, then a truck and then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles to deliver the vegetables.

Five years later, the man became one of the great food retailers. After great success in earning money he decided to have a life insurance for his family’s future.

He called an insurance broker and had a conversation to choose a protection plan. After choosing the plan the broker asked the man for his mobile number.

Can anyone guess what would the man have told..Let us find it..

The broker replied, ”I don’t have a mobile phone”.

The broker asked inquisitively, “You don’t have a mobile number, and yet had triumph to build an empire. Do you imagine what you could have been if you had the mobile number?”

The man thought for a minute, and answered, “An office boy!”

Hope everyone have understood why the man said this way.

Moral : It is not what we have, it is what we can make when we don’t have anything. Hard work matters.
